Our open air restaurant is offering South-Indian and Ayurveda Cuisine all day, along with freshly squeezed juices where you are welcome to enjoy along the 250m (approx. 273yds) waterfront. There is a stairway leading down to the bay area. There are natural springs pouring from the rock face serving you as a refreshing shower after having gone for a swim in the wavy sea.

In the beginning of each regenerative Ayurveda Therapy, a close inspection of your individual circumstances as well as habits in life is made. In agreement with your Ayurveda Doctor you may devise your off time a little more active. Varkala is ideal to go on one or multiple day excursions to neighboring regions. Tea plantations and a mountainous spice region further north, the lively Cochin -a former metropolis of trade- , Trivandrum with its markets to the south or go house boating in the Backwaters.
Since it is not advisable to go swimming we recommend to plan for a swimming vacation prior to your treatment.

Experience Week – the “learning by doing” or “what do I have to know about Ayurveda”-program
The Experiance Ayurveda Week is a week in which you will get introduced to Ayurveda: on four days you will get a survey of ayurvedic treatments with different massages and on three days you will learn basics about ayurvedic cooking and ayurvedic medicine (Oils, Herbs), etc.
